💛 Slap Ya Momma Pound Cake

🧈 Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

🍰 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan or a large loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar for 4–5 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the dry ingredients alternately with milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with flour. Mix just until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
